KW Specialty Insurance Company has selected Sapiens International Corporation‘ Sapiens Core Suite for Property & Casualty and Sapiens ReinsurancePro. The Sapiens platforms will support the core system needs of KW Specialty, enabling them to enter the insurance marketplace as a new carrier.

Swiss Re announced the launch of Quake Assist, a new parametric insurance solution that will expedite and simplify the payment of funds to victims of earthquakes in California. Swiss Re and Falls Lake, its primary insurance partner, are introducing the solution first to small- and medium-sized businesses.

The Climate Corporation announced a platform agreement between the company’s Climate FieldView digital agriculture platform and NAU Country Insurance Company, a QBE Insurance Company. The new agreement enhances the digital reporting capabilities for farmers.

Groupe PSA has selected Trov as its official insurance technology partner for its car-sharing service Free2Move. Free2Move is leveraging Trov’s Vehicle Activity API to adjust insurance premiums based on data received in real-time from every one of Free2Move’s connected vehicles.

Data analytics provider Verisk and Hippo Insurance, the California-based InsurTech company, announced the integration of Verisk solutions into Hippo’s full range of products. Hippo also uses Verisk claims data to help evaluate and process claims quickly.

Portage Mutual Insurance has selected Hyland‘s OnBase enterprise information platform. The mutual insurer will install OnBase in tandem with Guidewire ClaimCenter to enhance claims management capabilities. After completing phase one of its implementation in claims, Portage Mutual plans to extend OnBase into its policy and billing departments and then information technology back-office solutions.

Avant Mutual, an Australian medical defense organization and medical indemnity insurance provider, has selected Duck Creek‘s Policy, Rating and Billing solutions, delivered in the cloud via Duck Creek OnDemand.

Roost has partnered with Neos Smart Home Insurance. Neos plans to include selected Roost smart home devices as part of its offering.

Donegal Insurance Group has selected Guidewire Software Inc.‘s  Guidewire InsurancePlatform Core and Data products to replace its legacy systems. The company will implement the products for all of its lines of business, beginning with workers’ compensation, following by its commercial lines, and concluding with personal lines.
