Risk management services firm Hanover Stone Partners has appointed Steven Sachs as the firm’s national real estate practice leader. Most recently, he was with Willis Towers Watson for 10 years as executive vice president and director of the real estate, hotel and gaming practice in North America.

Brian Hemesath will become alumni advocate and entrepreneur-in-residence, working in a support role for the Global Insurance Accelerator (GIA). Effective immediately, the GIA is initiating a search from an individual to become the GIA’s next managing director as Hemesath transitions into his new role.

Kraus-Anderson Insurance has hired Cory Hillery director of Comptrol, the company’s proprietary workers’ compensation management division. Hillery has spent his entire 13-year career working exclusively in the workers’ comp arena, managing employer programs and understanding issues such as multi-state exposures, statutes and return-to-work programs.

Siobhan O’Brien has been appointed head of the cyber centre of excellence for international and global specialties for Guy Carpenter & Company LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies. She joins Guy Carpenter from Marsh where she most recently served as Marsh U.K. cyber placement leader and product development team leader.

Brit Ltd has announced that Mark Cloutier will step down from his role as executive chairman of Brit in December 2018. Mark was appointed Brit CEO in 2011, subsequently becoming executive chairman in January 2017.

Collette Champagne has been promoted to COO of Hagerty — the second woman COO in Hagerty history. She joined Hagerty in 1999 and most recently held the title of chief people officer.

Lockton has announced the following appointments to its Lockton Capital Markets business:

Johnell R. Holly has been elected to the board of directors of the Spencer Educational Foundation. He currently serves as operations senior vice president of FM Global’s New York operations.

Guidewire Software Inc. has appointed Paul Y. Mang to the newly created role of general manager, Guidewire Analytics and Data Services. Mang joins Guidewire from Aon plc where he served as the Global CEO of Analytics for the enterprise.

Delaney O’Brien has been promoted to director of marketing & Communications for Topa Insurance Group. O’Brien began her insurance career at Topa Insurance as a marketing representative in 2014 and was later promoted to corporate communications manager.

POWERS Insurance and Risk Management has hired Shari Smith as commercial lines account manager. She has nearly 10 years of insurance background, as well as more than 20 years in customer relations and management in the automobile industry.

Larry Collura has joined Everest Insurance‘s marketing & distribution team as a director of marketing & distribution for the West region. He joins Everest Insurance from Worldwide Facilities where he most recently served as a business development manager in Phoenix.

PMA Companies has named Josephine Copeland vice president, managed care. Most recently, Copeland served as vice president, cost containment at Broadspire, Crawford & Company’s global third-party administrator and managed care services provider.

Robyn Hahn has been appointed president of small business at Westfield. Prior to Westfield, Hahn expanded her professional portfolio to include the chief marketing officer position at two insurance industry Fortune Global 500 companies.
