Grange Insurance is the newest company partner of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America’s Agents Council for Technology. Together with Integrity Insurance, its affiliate company, Grange sells exclusively through independent agents and serve customers across 13 states.

Coalition has announced the first cyber insurance product to protect organizations against fraudulent use of their IT and telephony services, including cloud- and Internet-based services. Coalition’s Service Fraud coverage reimburses organizations for the direct financial losses they incur as the result of being charged for fraudulent use of business services including Software-as-a-Service, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Network-as-a-Service and telephony services, among others.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions has secured its sixth telematics and connected car-related patent. Covering the U.S., U.K., Europe and China, the newest patent award is the latest addition to the LexisNexis Risk Solutions growing connected car patent portfolio which includes more than eleven granted and pending applications for the U.S. as well as India and Brazil.

Insurity Inc. has announced that Victory Insurance Company, a workers’ compensation insurer based in Montana, will enhance their core systems with Insurity’s Breeze solution. Breeze is a cloud-hosted, end-to-end policy and claims administration system with integrated billing and policyholder web portals specifically built for workers’ compensation insurers.

Assurant Inc. has been selected as the preferred provider of renters insurance to Village Green, an apartment property management company. Specifically designed for multifamily housing, Assurant’s renters insurance will be available to more than 25,000 of Village Green’s residents.

Martin Eveleigh, chairman of Atlas Insurance Management, received the Distinguished Service Award at the fourth annual North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) conference. Eveleigh served on the board of directors for the NCCIA for two terms, is a past chairman and has assisted the association through the years.

Intelligent Mechatronic Systems, a connected car services and analytics provider to insurers, governments and enterprises, has been selected by NJM Insurance Group for its new smartphone-based insurance telematics program. NJM’s program will leverage IMS’ mobile telematics technology to help policyholders become safer drivers.
