Zurich North America prepared a package of initiatives to assist auto dealers in managing their credit origination processes. These initatives are designed to assist dealerships in limiting risk associated with allegations involving noncompliance with fair lending laws.
Mergers & Acquisitions
USI Insurance Services acquired Oscar & Assocs. of West Caldwell, N.J. Oscar & Assocs. will be combined in Emerson Reid LLC, USI's benefits wholesale operation.
EPIC acquired certain assets of program specialist Atlus Specialty Group, specifically the program book of business. This acquisition is part of the company's plan to pursue national expansion by capital from the Carlyle Group and Stone Point Capital.
Willis North America announced the aquisition of the employee benefits consulting division of Capital Strategies Group Inc. in Birgmingham, Ala.
SIA Group purchased Parkway Insurance Services, a home, auto, health and business insurance agency located in Lenoir, N.C.
