Allied Insurance Brokers appointed Jeff McGeary, executive vice president, as secretary on the Florida Crane Owner's Council. In this role, Mr. McGeary is responsible for taking minutes at the council's quarterly meetings and will serve as webmaster for the council's website.
Mara Majeeda was named an account manager for New Day Underwriting Managers' construction practice.
Provider Group added Christine Beaudin, Erica Blanchard and Jeannie Spiro as account managers. Ms. Beaudin joins Provider as an account manager in the Private Client Group, while Ms. Blanchard will take on the role of account manager in commercial lines, working with small businesses. Ms. Spiro will assume the role in the employee benefits group.
Duff Wallace, president and CEO of Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Co. was elected to the Property Casualty Insurers Assn. of America's Board of Governors.
The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation named Gary C. Petrosino, executive vice president and Western U.S. territory field operations officer of Chubb & Son, chairman of its National Board of Governors.
New Programs
Ironsure's U.S. Specialty Casualty Unit is now offering Ironshore International Connect, which provides excess quality coverage for U.S. companies' overseas operations on a locally-admitted basis. The new program is compliant with market regulations and will help simplify the process for obtaining required liability coverage for international risks in global markets.
Continental Risk Insurance Services is offering an E&O product specifically targeted at the technology industry to protect professional, multimedia, privacy and network needs.

Brown & Brown agreed to acquire Wright Insurance Group for $602.5 million.
