During Turnstone’s Millennials in the Workplace discussion at Impact HUB, a panel of young business leaders suggested recruiting and inspiring leadership and mentorship in the workforce, as well as providing the opportunity for professional and personal growth is essential in retaining millennials in the workplace.

Internships have become more important in breaking into an industry. Interns and new workers are looking to gain professional experience, but also connect with the companies. However, when young workers begin requesting “me time,” they can come off as demanding to their superiors.
