This is your final edition of Claims CE for the year — and forever. Beginning in January, we will be merging this publication into Claims Connection, the weekly eNews brought to you by the editors of Claims Magazine and our soon-to-launch site, PropertyCasualty360.com. Rest assured, however, that the content you have come to know and love will also make the transition. Before we get too ahead of ourselves, however, I’d like to note that this is yet another stellar issue full of CE-related content. This month’s top feature comes courtesy of Donna Popow, who is senior director of knowledge resources and ethics counsel for The Institutes. In her piece, she outlines the expectations for a catastrophe adjuster, which at times can border on the absurd and outrageous. To help catastrophe adjusters manage such high job expectations, Popow highlights several training programs that are available, including The Institutes’ newest designation program, the Associate in National Flood Insurance.
