When disasters occur, the public relies on insurance companies to help cover the costs of returning them to some measure of viability. From car accidents and work-related injuries to recovering from perils like hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires and floods, policyholders expect their insurance to be their first financial line of defense for recovery.
What many may not be aware of are the other ways in which insurers and their employees serve policyholders and communities. The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) is one of the premier vehicles that facilitates these efforts.
