Steve Ailers, ARe, GenRe presented the NAPSLO's Next Generation Leadership Workshop this afternoon to a full room of Next Gen members and interns.
Eilers began the workshop by asking attendees to break into groups and discuss examples of great leaders (inside the insurance industry and out) and what they wanted to learn from today's workshop.
Members then stood up and shared with the room the examples they discussed, from Apple's Steve Jobs to NAPSLO's Next Generation's own Scott Culler. Eilers then went on to discuss the cyclical nature of the Surplus Lines industry, and what young agents can expect as their careers move forward. Attendees were eager to learn from Eilers, sharing their experiences and asking questions throughout the workshop.
