NU Online News Service, May 13, 2:40 p.m.EDT--Aon Corporation said it has named Steve McGill, 47,as chief executive officer of its new global large corporatebusiness unit.
|Mr. McGill was chief executive of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Groupplc, an international insurance broker.
|The new Aon hire is a director of the International InsuranceSociety and deputy president of the Insurance Institute ofLondon.
|Aon said the new unit would address the sophisticated riskmanagement needs of the largest global corporations. The unit willinclude professional staff in key financial centers who will workclosely with Aon's country and regional organizations to provideadvice, program design and support for complex risk managementneeds.
